Karen grew up and lives in Rayleigh. She's always loved drawing, but working long hours meant it was often difficult to find the time. It was with the arrival of her son that she re-discovered her passion - he wanted a picture of a truck on his wall and she hasn't stopped drawing since! Karen finds drawing really therapeutic and says it really helped her when she was struggling with post natal depression. "It became a sort of therapy for me and I felt like me again. I love how it relaxes me and channels all the weirdness in my brain into something creative!" With her work inspired by music and nature, Karen now has a beautiful and growing collection of pen, ink and paint pieces.
